Our Infection Control Protocols
- Masks to be worn by therapist at all times throughout treatment until otherwise directed by Massage & Myotherapy Australia and DHHS.
- All common surfaces and equipment are sanitised after each client.
- All linen changed and sanitised after each client.
- Clean linen is stored in line with DHHS regulation and standard association infection control policies.
- Treatment times are staggered to allow social distancing.
- Contactless payment is preferred but not enforced.
What we need from you
- Masks are optional for clients.
- Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or members of your household are unwell. Please reschedule your appointment.
- Please do not attend if you have had a COVID-19 test recently. You may attend when results are confirmed clear.
- If you have tested positive for COVID-19 please follow the advice of your Health Care professionals until a negative test result is confirmed. You will need to present a doctors certificate confirming clearance prior to your next appointment.
- If you have travelled interstate or overseas please ensure you have followed the advice of governing bodies and/or self-isolated for 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Our professional association has advised that clients who present to appointments with cold/flu like symptoms will be refused treatment.
